Visit 220 acres of artistically landscaped gardens, surrounded by majestic forest, spring-fed ponds, streams, waterfalls and bridge crossings. Created by visionary Jim Gibbs, over a period of 37 years, this spectacular public garden is a feast for the senses throughout the year. Sixteen garden venues await you, including four feature gardens: The Daffodils are breathtaking-50 acres with more than 20 million flowers, blooming from early March to mid-April. The Manor House Gardens offer color spring through fall, with lush terraces, waterfalls, sweeping lawns and woodland. The Monet Waterlily Gardens feature 140 varieties of waterlilies, and a replica of Monet’s bridge. The Japanese Gardens encompass 40 acres with spring-fed ponds, islands, bridges, boulders, rocks and thousands of Japanese maples.
