Located at the Old City Hall in Helen, HAHC is a non-profit organization that promotes appreciation of the arts and local history through educational instruction, workshops, exhibits and participation with other councils and organizations within and without Georgia. It consists entirely of volunteers and has been able to provide a variety of classes including oil, acrylic, watercolor, drawing, pottery, collage, jewelry, basketry, scarf painting and others.

The Helen Arts & Heritage Center, located at 25 Chattahoochee Strasse, is open to the public without charge. Normal hours of operation are noon until 4:00 p.m. Thursday through Monday, but may vary with volunteer availability. Telephone 706-878-3933 for more information.
