description

Helen Arts & Heritage welcomes Luciano Georgescu in May for a drawing study of the human body. The study will follow the proportions particular to the model, following the same rules of the drawing art: containment in a geometrical figure. Various postures of the human body, such as relaxation, movement and effort will be considered as well as examining human facial expressions.

Project images will include the human body, hand, head and pictures with faces.

We invite you to consider learning to draw! Drawing and sketching opens the door to many creative opportunities and aids in the development of media choices such as portraits and painting. Luciano is educated and experienced in graphic design and drawing and you can be sure of receiving a quality educational experience as you learn to draw.
As a convenience to his students, Luciano offers a morning class from 9:00 am until 12:00 noon as well as an evening class from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Classes will be held on Monday, May 4, 11, 18 and 25 in the upstairs drawing room of the arts center, located in downtown Helen at 25 Chattahoochee Strasse.

The cost for the entire four-week session is $80, with a single walk-in class fee of only $25, payable at the beginning of class. A complete list of supplies needed can be found on our website, helenarts.org,  located under class registrations tab. Students may register online or by email tohelenartshc@gmail.com
