Surrey Bike Scavenger Hunt, every Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 11AM, behind Betty’s Country Store. This is a time to pedal around town, finding answers to some funny questions and search for white horses while bonding with your family & friends! Groups of any size can join the fun, but the surrey bikes are available on a first come-first serve basis. Sign up in advance at Alpine Adventures Surrey Bikes, 8873 N. Main St., behind Betty’s. The bikes come in 3 sizes and up to 6 adults and 5 kids can ride on the largest one. 706-892-8215.

Yonah Mountain Vineyard’s Third Annual Crush Fest, 11AM – 7PM, Yonah Mountain Vineyards, 1717 Highway 255, Cleveland, GA 30528. Grape stomping will highlight the day. New this year is the Crusher 6K Vineyard Run & 2K Trellis Trail Walk/Run which begins at 9AM. The Atlanta Falcon’s drum line will enliven the festival with hourly appearances. Horse-drawn wagon tours of the vineyard, tours of the winery & Georgia’s only wine cave, barrel samples & wine tasting will be offered. Area restaurants will sell foods paired with Yonah Mountain Vineyards’ wines. Live music by great local groups will perform all day along with over 25 vendors and artists selling local products and wine related merchandise.706-878-5522.

North Georgia Zoo & Petting Farm will be open Labor Day weekend & Labor Day! They are offering a Sunset Tour & Howl with the Wolves from 6:30PM – 9PM. Early reservations recommended but not required. Save money by reserving your spot in advance! See the zoo from a different perspective. Get a unique up close and personal guided tour. Meet & Greet with some of the zoo’s baby exotic animals and animal ambassadors! Come see our wolves in action! Refreshments served while watching the sun set and interacting with the wolves and other animal ambassadors.
