Fresh, Nourishing, Friendly That's what we are about with the Farm to Table Restaurant at the Stovall House.

Friday or Saturday dinner seating 5:30 - 9:00 p.m. Brunch 11:00 - 2:00 on Sunday

Fresh - from March through October much of our food will come from right here at the Stovall House. Our farm, Grove Place Farm, as it was named in 1850, includes herbs, flowers, vegetables and fruit. Most of the plants grown here are started from heirloom seed stock (seeds grown and harvested for over 50 years). The Cushaw squash for example has found it's way into vegetable sides and a delicious base for soups. Farm to Table Dining, Country Restaurant, North Georgia

Nourishing - We value locally grown food for many reasons, not the least of which is providing food that retains optimal nourishment and taste. Vegetables from our farm or other local producers have been harvested within a day or two of serving it. From the views at the Stovall House to the service to the food itself, we want customers to feel nourished and appreciated, literally from the valley that feeds us. We love our community; we love feeding you! Farm to Table Dining, Country Restaurant,

North GeorgiaFriendly - describes the atmosphere and our underlying philosophy. Being environmentally friendly is key to our mission. That means choosing local producers whenever possible that provide food that is grown in soil that has been nourished by compost and organic matter, and animals that have been treated respectfully without the addition of unwanted substances that pass through their system into ours. The Sautee Valley where we live has been farmed for centuries. Native people added to the soil with silt from the Chickamauga Creek and organic matter available on site. We prefer this model of layered nutrition in our farm practice.
