Habersham Winery has been producing award winning Georgia wines since 1983 and is one of Georgia's oldest and largest wineries. Tom Slick, owner of Habersham Winery and Nacoochee Village, is a visionary who is one of the pioneers of the wine industry in Georgia. Everyone said it would be a failure, but it has turned into a 32 year success story. From the vineyard to the shelf, we produce Georgia's finest wines.

Located in the North Georgia Wine Country, one half mile south of Alpine Helen in Nacoochee Village, the winery is open daily for wine tastings. Guests can see the winemaking process from the tasting room through the viewing windows.

In addition to a large selection of Georgia grown and produced wines, the tasting room also features a gift shop with gourmet foods and wine specialty items from around the world. We carry imported cheeses and all the fixings for a perfect picnic.

Since 1983, some of the finest award winning Georgia Wines have been produced at Habersham Vineyards & Winery. Habersham's commitment to quality begins with careful monitoring and growing practices of the grapes in our vineyard by our Vineyard Manager Matt Chobanian. Attention to detail continues through the crushing, fermentation and aging process. Our winemaker Andrew Beaty, UC Davis and California trained, personally sees to each detail of every process. Both gentleman are masters in their respective fields and Habersham is fortunate to have them on our team. Habersham’s General Manager Emily DeFoor oversees the entire process from grape to glass to ensure our customers not only receive the best product but also the best experience. Delicious wine, sincere hospitality and an overall fantastic customer experience is our goal.

We are open daily for Wine Tasting. Your tasting experience and selection recommendations are handled by a well trained staff who looks forward to serving you.

Wine tastings are $7.50 and include 5 tastings and a souvenir wine glass.
